Please let me know in the comments if you'd rather not have Steven use Occam's Razor or Tower of Babyl on your character. Occam's Razor allows him to convince someone a simple explanation he provides is the truth, even if it's not, and Tower of Babyl allows him to turn off the ability to comprehend others, essentially making artificial language barriers.
